A Letter

one of many letters I found with Anna's collection, her writings are just enough to make you wonder and there seems to "always" be a hole in the story. It was dated: November

Dear Amalie, now about this boy, the one with the art, I did not mean to leave such a hole in the story on our last visit, that being at the train depot. I hugged you good by and later realized "oh my! what must she think?"
So, no I would not have called this an affair but only an abstract part of my life that has no rhyme or reason. It was entertaining to say the least and created much chaos. The twist is the fact that he is much younger than me,I am embarrassed to say by how much...the other twist is that my husband has always encouraged promiscuous behavior, this might work for some but unfortunately there was never anyone that interested me besides my husband, until of course I saw the art. I don't think sex was ever "my" intention but it seemed to grow with the voice of others, one being a very close friend. So, I said all of this to assure you I have been perfectly honest in my behavior and have never been one to "cheat", and have always preferred an honest approach to life. I would never think you one to judge but at the same time would much rather let you in on these details, as to not leave you a reason to assume anything.
Now about that Alice, you say we are having a Tea Party and Alice will be our guest, now who should bring the tea and what flavor should it be? Chocolate would also be delightful. It will be wonderful to connect with her again...it has been such a long while.

Anna
