The Letter Keeper

When i told Deb what part she played in the book she confided in me. I told her that she was the "letter keeper" and that a letter keeper is someone you entrust with your secrets whether written or spoken, in letter form or journal. The owner of the secrets gives written instructions on what to do with them once they have left this life for another one. She then told me that her husband John had given her letters to keep. the letters were to be given to some of his closest relatives when he passed away. The confession: "When the time came to give out the letters I decided I would read them first and when I read them decided I could not carry this request out because the letters were so awful, if anyone were to read these letters they would want to immediatly check out. I think I finally might have thrown them away, so i don't think I would be a very good letter keeper. I said to her, "well then, you MUST be the letter keeper so you can make up for this, it will be your way to reconcile, your second chance. before she left I said to her "hey by the way I will be bringing you some letters...soon

i crave experience, isn't that what we are here for? maybe this is my addiction and it seems you promt me into creating something i need to experience.
